The base material of Timemass paper is polar, just like conventional paper fibers. This polarity allows it to form hydrogen bonds and electrostatic interactions as it dries. However, unlike traditional papier mache where fibers remain loosely entangled in a hydrated pulp, the molecular interactions in Timemass Paper create a cemented, cohesive matrix.
