Steps to Paint with TimePaint
Thank You for Purchasing TimePaint!
Welcome to a new era of painting with TimePaint — an innovative, non-toxic solution created to protect both you and the planet.
Our formulas avoid the use of artificial chemical suspension agents, meaning that natural settling is expected. Simply shake or stir TimePaint before each use to enjoy consistent, beautiful results.
Follow these simple steps for the best painting experience:
⸻
Step 1: Shake Before Use
Before painting:
• Open the container and stir thoroughly using a mixing stick for about one minute.
• Ensure all components are fully blended into a homogeneous mixture.
Note: Paint will remain properly mixed for approximately 16 hours after stirring.
⸻
Step 2: Pour and Apply
• Pour TimePaint into a painting tray or container.
• Apply using a roller or brush only.
⚠️ Important:
Do not use spray guns or atomizers.
TimePaint is polar and tends to adhere to internal spray components, leading to oversized droplets and uneven finishes.
⸻
Step 3: Using TimePaint - Texture (Powder Coating)
If you are using TimePaint - Texture:
• After applying the paint, wait 1 to 5 minutes before adding the powder coat.
• Use a powder sprayer or disperser appropriate to your project size (e.g., small sprayer for cabinets).
• Always wear respiratory protection, especially when working with metallic powders.
After achieving your desired texture:
• Apply a layer of TimePaint - Nothing, our clear protective coating, to seal and protect the finish.
• Some textures, like TimePaint - Texture Stone, may not require a final coating, as the matte effect left after drying and brushing off excess powder is already ideal.
⸻
Step 4: Using TimePaint - Glow
TimePaint - Glow requires charging to glow in the dark:
• Apply it in areas exposed to natural or artificial light.
• For faster results, “charge” it using a laser pointer or flashlight.
• Designed to protect your circadian rhythm, it only glows in complete darkness to avoid sleep disruption.
⸻
Step 5: Aftercare - Cleaning, Storage, and Handling
Cleaning:
• Clean brushes and rollers with warm water immediately after use.
Storage:
• Reseal containers tightly.
• Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
⚠️ Important: As TimePaint is water-based, it must be kept from freezing. Freezing can damage the paint permanently.
Re-use:
• Stir or shake again if using paint after storage.
⸻
