TimeMass Wax Filament

$19.99

Print softness. Print grip. Print wax.

TimeMass Wax is a functional 3D printing filament developed by String Cubed on the TimePlast Material Platform. Formulated with a high loading of 100% natural beeswax, it is our softest printable material to date, designed for applications where softness, lubricity, polishability, grip, and sacrificial performance matter.

Unlike conventional filaments that focus on color or strength, TimeMass Wax is designed around function. It transforms your 3D printer into a tool for creating objects that feel, perform, and interact differently than traditional plastics.

Print. Experiment. Create.

How it works

Natural beeswax is embedded within a printable polymer matrix, allowing the material to print like a filament while delivering the unique characteristics of beeswax in the finished part. The result is a material with a soft, wax-like feel that can polish, lubricate, protect, or serve as a sacrificial component depending on your design.

Every print is an opportunity to rethink what a functional material can do.

Where to use it

  • Wax seal stamp handles

  • Leather burnishing tools

  • Thread conditioning blocks

  • Wood plane and saw wax applicators

  • Jewelry and lost-wax casting masters

  • Sculpting and modeling blanks

  • Candle-making accessories

  • Plant grafting tools and garden accessories

These examples are only the beginning.

Printing recommendations

For reliable prints, please always use a 0.8 mm nozzle and dry the filament at 155°F (68°C) for at least 2 hours before printing. Print at 225–235°C (230°C recommended) on a 90°C textured heated build plate. Use minimal retraction and low cooling after the first layers for best results.

For all other print settings, please use our specialized TimePlast GPT. If you have questions, concerns, or difficulty printing, don't hesitate to contact us at timeplast@timeplast.com. We work with every customer until their filament prints successfully, and we also offer no-questions-asked refunds if the material simply isn't the right fit for your application.
