Reflect & Glow

$25.99

When it’s dark, you’ve got two options: disappear or glow like a legend.

TimeMass Reflect & Glow by Timeplast does both, glows in total darkness and reflects light straight back to the source when hit with headlights, flashlights, or whatever else is bouncing around out there.

No batteries. No wires. Just light in, visibility out.

How it works:

  • Phosphorescent glow – Charges in ambient light and glows when the lights go out.

  • Microprism retroreflection – Reflects light directly back, so you stay visible from every angle. Like a cat’s eye, but printable.

If the glow fades? No problem. The reflection kicks in. You’re still seen. You’re still safe.

Where to use it:

  • Wearables – Jackets, helmets, bags anything you want to keep visible on a night ride or rave.

  • Vehicles & roads – Print your own reflectors, emergency tags, or bumper warnings.

  • Camping gear – Tag your tent, tools, or that one zipper you always lose.

  • Home safety – Mark stairs, doors, or exit paths so they light up when you need them.

  • Creative chaos – Glowing art, hidden messages, nighttime signage... whatever weird glowing object you need in your life.

No charging cables. No nonsense.
Just a print that remembers the light and knows how to throw it back when it counts.

Whether you're staying safe or just showing off, Reflect & Glow makes sure you're never left in the dark.

Need Ideas? Here You Go:

  • Wearable safety gear, such as jogging armbands and biking accessories.

  • Reflective road signs and trail markers for enhanced nighttime navigation.

  • Emergency equipment labels visible in low light and under direct illumination.

  • Glow-reactive sculptures and interactive designs.

Important Note: To keep this filament transparent enough for proper light transmission, it must be thoroughly dried for at least 24 hours at 155°F (68°C) before printing. If the filament is not dried, moisture trapped inside will expand during extrusion, creating microbubbles that turn into internal micro-foaming an effect that dramatically reduces clarity and prevents light from traveling through the material as intended. In other words, skipping the drying step is like trying to shine a flashlight through a latte: the glow gets lost in the foam. Dry it well, and the filament performs exactly as designed clear, bright, and ready to illuminate your prints.

Printing recommendations: For reliable prints, please always use a 0.8mm nozzle. A cryogrip blue plate so that first layer will adhere. For all of the other parameters, please use our specialized GPT here.‍ ‍And if at any point you have questions, concerns, or difficulty printing, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at timeplast@timeplast.com. We work with every customer until their filament prints successfully, and we also offer no-questions-asked refunds if the material simply isn’t the right fit for you. Your satisfaction is always our priority.

Please note: Our filaments are not vacuum-sealed, as they require drying before printing regardless of packaging. In line with our mission to eliminate plastic waste, we use 100% plastic-free packaging. Vacuum-sealed packaging is single-use and highly polluting, and goes against the environmental principles that guide everything we do at Timeplast.

Ambient humidity actually keeps them in perfect condition, giving them an unlimited shelf life. Unlike conventional filaments, which dry out over time, become brittle, and lose their thermoplastic properties, our filaments are specifically engineered to remain in optimal condition for decades—as long as they are exposed to normal humidity.

In all honesty, with TimeMass you won’t just print objects—you’ll print experiences. Think about it. By introducing a new programmable dimension, your designs don’t just sit there. They evolve. Shift. Light up. Soap up. Grow up. Phase out. Disappear and more. You’re actually building moments.

Precision? Built In.
Making a filament with Timeplast is not easy, not at all. We can’t use automated machines for example. Each spool is handcrafted, here in the U.S. and monitored by a human for over a 49-minute cycle per spool. That’s not mass production—that’s obsessive accuracy.

Specs That Actually Matter:

  • Diameter: All of our filaments have a diameter of Ø= 1.75 ± 0.15 mm.

  • Mass: 0.77lb

  • Compatibility: Works with all major 3D printers. No drama.

True timed obsolescence
Use filaments with built-in "time codes" like Active, Delayed or Passive to make your prints transform, separate, or self-destruct on schedule. Whether it’s art, function, or straight-up sci-fi—if you can print it, you can make it move.

Water Molecular Disintegration – Print Today, Gone Tomorrow
Yes the words “Molecular Disintegration sounded like something that ChatGPT would say, but no, it’s the only way to explain how our materials dissolve in the presence of water down to a Carbon-to-carbon level. TimeMass breaks down at the molecular level when exposed to water. That’s not marketing—it’s chemistry. Smart materials that serve their purpose, then step aside. Clean, conscious, and built for next-gen applications.
