Once printed, cooled, and fully dried, the object is designed to function as a cleansing bar when exposed to water. The result is a printable material that turns your 3D printer into a tool for making usable, customizable cleansing objects.

Low Foam, Real Clean

TimeMass Detergent Filament is intentionally low-foam.

If you are used to commercial soaps that create huge bubbles, this will feel different. Gen 6 is built around cleansing performance, not dramatic lather.

Foam can feel satisfying, but foam is not the only sign that cleaning is happening. Gen 6 focuses on the formula itself — giving you a stronger clean while keeping the low-foam experience that makes this material unique.

Customize Your Bar

Want to make the final print more personal?

Pause your print and add compatible extras such as essential oils, moisturizers, exfoliants, or other cleansing-safe additives. This allows you to personalize the finished bar while keeping the printable structure intact.

Create something simple, scented, textured, experimental, or completely your own.

Let It Dry Between Uses

For best performance, allow the printed bar to dry between washes.

Drying helps the bar regain hardness and may extend its usable life compared with leaving it constantly wet. Think of it as a printed cleansing object that performs best when it has time to reset between uses.

What It’s Made From

TimeMass Detergent Filament Gen 6 is made from water, calcium carbonate, in-house polymerized alcohols, olive oil, and naturally derived surfactants and emulsifiers, including coco-glucoside and glyceryl stearate.

In plain terms: it is engineered to print cleanly, hold its shape after drying, and activate as a cleansing bar when exposed to water.

Printing Recommendations

For reliable prints, we recommend using a 0.8 mm nozzle and a CryoGrip blue build plate to help the first layer adhere properly.

In line with our mission to eliminate plastic waste, we use 100% plastic-free packaging. Vacuum-sealed packaging is single-use and highly polluting, and goes against the environmental principles that guide everything we do at Timeplast.

Unlike conventional filaments, which dry out over time, become brittle, and lose their thermoplastic properties, our filaments are specifically engineered to remain in optimal condition for decades, as long as they are exposed to normal humidity.

Making a filament with Timeplast is not easy, not at all. We can’t use automated machines for example. Each spool is handcrafted, here in the U.S. and monitored by a human for over a 49-minute cycle per spool. That’s not mass production, that’s obsessive accuracy.
