Glow Cleansing Filament Gen 5

$34.99

Printed by you. Now with a built-in glow.

TimeMass Glow Cleansing Filament is our Gen 5 printable cleansing material with the glow engineered directly into the filament. Not painted. Not coated. Not a surface trick.

Charge it under daylight or a lamp, and it releases a soft green glow when the lights go out. It is subtle, clean, a little unexpected, and designed to function like soap when exposed to water after printing, cooling, and drying.

What Makes It Different

It Actually Glows

A clear phosphorescent “ghost light” effect that recharges with exposure to light. Fun in the bathroom. Useful at night. A little bit magic.

Still the Same Gen 5 Base

Made with water, calcium carbonate, polymerized alcohols, olive oil, and naturally derived surfactants and emulsifiers. It is designed to print reliably, cool, dry, and become a functional cleansing bar you can use with water.

Gentle Low-Foam Wash by Design

If you are used to commercial bubble mountains, this will feel different. Cleaning comes from the surfactant and emulsifier system doing the work. Foam is mostly a visual cue, not the whole story.

Important Drying Note

To keep this filament transparent enough for proper light transmission, it must be thoroughly dried for at least 24 hours at 155°F / 68°C before printing.

If the filament is not dried, moisture trapped inside can expand during extrusion, creating microbubbles that reduce clarity and interfere with light transmission. In other words, skipping the drying step is like trying to shine a flashlight through a latte: the glow gets lost in the foam.

Dry it well, and the filament is ready to perform as designed: clear, bright, and ready to illuminate your prints.

Printing Recommendations

For reliable prints, we recommend using a 0.8 mm nozzle and a CryoGrip blue build plate to help the first layer adhere properly.

For all other print settings, please use our specialized Timeplast GPT printing assistant. If you have questions, concerns, or difficulty printing, contact us at timeplast@timeplast.com. We work with customers to help them get successful prints, and if the material is not the right fit for your application, our refund policy is here to support you.

Safety Notes

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and sensitive areas. Do not ingest.

Use essential oils responsibly. Essential oils are concentrated ingredients and should only be used in small, appropriate amounts. Do not apply undiluted essential oils directly to skin-contact prints.

Please note: Our filaments are not vacuum-sealed, as they require drying before printing regardless of packaging. In line with our mission to eliminate plastic waste, we use 100% plastic-free packaging. Vacuum-sealed packaging is single-use and highly polluting, and goes against the environmental principles that guide everything we do at Timeplast.

Ambient humidity actually keeps them in perfect condition, giving them an unlimited shelf life. Unlike conventional filaments, which dry out over time, become brittle, and lose their thermoplastic properties, our filaments are specifically engineered to remain in optimal condition for decades—as long as they are exposed to normal humidity.

In all honesty, with TimeMass you won’t just print objects, you’ll print experiences. Think about it. By introducing a new programmable dimension, your designs don’t just sit there. They evolve. Shift. Light up. Soap up. Grow up. Phase out. Disappear and more. You’re actually building moments.

Precision? Built In.
Making a filament with Timeplast is not easy, not at all. We can’t use automated machines for example. Each spool is handcrafted, here in the U.S. and monitored by a human for over a 49-minute cycle per spool. That’s not mass production—that’s obsessive accuracy.

Specs That Actually Matter:

  • Diameter: All of our filaments have a diameter of Ø= 1.75 ± 0.15 mm.

  • Weight: 350gr.

  • Compatibility: Works with all major 3D printers. No drama.

  • Ingredients: Timeplast Plus, sodium acetate, vinegar, olive-oil–derived emollients, coconut-based surfactants, and natural essential oils/fragrance.

True timed obsolescence
Use filaments with built-in "time codes" like Active, Delayed or Passive to make your prints transform, separate, or self-destruct on schedule. Whether it’s art, function, or straight-up sci-fi—if you can print it, you can make it move.

Water Molecular Disintegration – Print Today, Gone Tomorrow
Yes the words “Molecular Disintegration sounded like something that ChatGPT would say, but no, it’s the only way to explain how our materials dissolve in the presence of water down to a Carbon-to-carbon level. TimeMass breaks down at the molecular level when exposed to water. That’s not marketing—it’s chemistry. Smart materials that serve their purpose, then step aside. Clean, conscious, and built for next-gen applications.
